     <description><![CDATA[<p>the first dvd news has started to leak through. apparently "dumplings" will make its extended-cut release right at the end of the year. the first dvd of the anthology version (combines all 3 in their short version) will be at the end of january. from what i can tell theyre both HK dvds but yesasia.com doesnt go as far as to include any info stating "english subtitles" so we will have to wait and see...</p>]]></description>

     <description><![CDATA[<p>I totally agree with you.  I didn't buy the 'special edition' on VHS back a few years and don't intend to buy this one either.  It makes little-to-no sense in not putting out the original original (I'm not sure that phrase makes sense either).  There will be fans who want the first films and others who want these re-tooled (heavy emphasis on the 'tool') versions.  Instead, some of us shake our heads and long for the sweet days of youth.
